Welcome! Thank you for considering Minnetonka Country Club for hosting your special event. Our Catering Department along with your direction will take great care to ensure that your occasion is given the special attention that we give to all our patrons when hosting such a memorable event. Our Culinary Staff offers a wide variety of entrées that will meet or exceed your expectations, or if you choose to have a custom menu, our Chef will be happy to assure your satisfaction. A Club Manager along with our professional wait-staff will attend to you and your guests from the time you walk through the door until the conclusion of your special event. We invite you to enjoy the comfort and warmth of hosting your event with us.

Deposit: A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is required before your event date can be contractually confirmed. The deposit must be received within 1 (one) week of the verbal commitment and will be applied to your final invoice.

Food Minimums:
The food minimum is 21.00 per person
Set plate entrées start at 21.00
Buffets start at 23.00

Pre-payment: The estimated bill must be paid in full two (2) weeks before your event. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your event and the person listed on the event contract will be liable for 50% of the estimated bill. A final bill mailed to you within a few business days following your event will reflect any additional charges or credit due to you. Final bills are due upon receipt.

Guarantee: A final count is due three (3) working days before your event. If your event falls on a weekend your final count is due the Wednesday before the event. Your bill is based on your guaranteed count or persons served, whichever is greater. All guests attending your reception will be charged for dinner. If no guarantee is submitted we will consider the last number given to be the guarantee.

Service Charge & Sales Tax: A service charge and sales tax will be added to all prices quoted. Service charge on food and beverage is 20%. Sales tax on food, misc. items, and non-alcoholic beverages is 7.275% and 9.775% on alcoholic beverages

Catering: All food (cake excepted) and beverages must be provided by Minnetonka Country Club. State Health Department regulations prohibit the removal of any food or beverages from the premises. All attending guests will be included in your final food count.

Seating Capacity: Ranges from a minimum of 40 up to 400 using the entire clubhouse. Room capacities will vary depending upon set up required for your event.

Dress Code: Proper attire is required to conform to the Club’s dress code. Nice blue jeans are permitted (No rips or tears).

Cake: You may furnish your own cake, however, it must be purchased from a professional baker.  Cake cutting service is complimentary.

Punch: A delightful combination of cranberry juice, orange juice, and fresh fruit. The charge is $30.00 per gallon, with a three-gallon minimum.

Centerpieces: We have rental items available and you may choose your own florist.

Wedding Gifts and Cards: Please have someone responsible for their removal at the end of your event. M.C.C. is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Dance Floor: The Ballroom dance floor is 20' x30' . If you have a small reception in the Fireside Room, a temporary dance floor is available at an additional cost.

Music: A band or DJ is acceptable. The Minnetonka Country Club reserves the right to control the volume of your entertainment.

All the dining facilities have windows overlooking the golf course.
Ice carvings are available - please inquire for a quote.
You may not use confetti or "sprinkle" decorations, throw rice or birdseed on the Club premises.
Minnetonka Country Club reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee for damages and/or cleaning if deemed necessary by the condition of any rooms or equipment used.

MCC Alcohol Policy: We are bound by the same Minnesota Statutes as any licensed facility when serving alcohol. Under-age guests (20 or younger) or guests without proper identification (which must be shown upon request) will not be served. It is illegal for a relative or guest to purchase alcohol for a minor. If this occurs, the drinks will be confiscated and the guests involved will be asked to leave.
